Time Out Chart

I got this great idea from a girl and a glue gun. I figure w/ JJ being out of school for Summer break this will be a great tool to keep him reminded of the rules. Heaven might be to young but I'm still gonna try it w/ her and if all else fails this cool chart will help w/ teaching her colors.

WHAT YOU NEED:

7 PIECES OF PAPER
GLUE
MARKERS
STICKERS (OR ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO DECORATE WITH)
CLIPS

line up papers depending on the color you would like to use

Glue the pieces together

Put the START in the middle and write in the rest what you would like the boxes to say

You can let the kids help you decorate the TOP box, that is the reward box

put names on laundry clips and hang it on the wall

Through out the day if the child is good go up, when he/she doesn't listen have them move the clip down. I think this is an awesome tool to keep them focused this Summer.

Oh, it turned out sooooo cute! great job!
That's a great ideal! I think it helps a lot for the kids to have a visual representation of their behavior.

Good Idea! You might also use clothes pins, and let them decorate those. My kids love doing that, and then my mom dates them, and uses them for things like holding the chips closed and those kinds of things. But it would be great for this chart also! Thanks for all the cool idea's Crystal!
