The Homeschool Room ( Now and Then)

It's hard to believe it's only been 4 months since we began our Homeschooling adventure. I am amazed everyday at how smart a 2 1/2 yr old can be. I've been spending more and more time, trying to organize the room. It seems the more time that goes on the less room I seem to have.

I have realized now that when deciding to homeschool you should invest in lots of storage units and BOOK SHELVES. Now that it's a NEW year I thought I'd look back on how far we have come with the room.

BEFORE
AS YOU CAN SEE THERE WASN'T VERY MUCH TO WORK WITH

NOW

NOW I'M RUNNING OUT OF ROOM

I HAVE TO LABEL THE SHELVES SO IT'S EASIER TO PUT THINGS AWAY

BEFORE

THE WALL SEEMED SO BARE

NOW

I HAVE SO MUCH STUFF I'M NOT SURE WHERE TO PUT IT

BEFORE

OUR CALENDAR WAS A MESS

NOW

CIRCLE TIME IS NICE AND ORGANIZED NOW

BEFORE

SUPPLIES WERE LIMITED

AND EASY TO STORE

NOW

OVERFLOWING

SO MANY PUZZLES THEY HAVE TO BE PUT IN THE BIN

BEFORE

BORING

NOW

GYMNASTICS OR DRAWING
SUPPLIES AND GAMES

ART CORNER

We also kept our ABC Vine, Sea Of Fish, and color chart for when TJ starts next year.

Hi there. Came over from the HHH and loooooove your room! It's awesome! I have a new bookcase and a new desk on my to-buy list for this year. Warmest wishes on your homeschooling adventure.
I would love to homeschool my 2 year old too but it seems we don't have much support for that here in our country. From what I've been reading, she'll have a hard time attending secondary school and college if she's homeschooled until the 6th grade :(

I love your room though and am not thanking homeschooling can be pretty expensive because of the materials, furniture and supplies you have to have!

For now I'm happy she can read on her own already but I'm still looking at homeschooling her for at least a year more.

Happy New Year and thanks for dropping by my blog!

I am so jealous!! We have a 1300 sq.ft house for a family of 6. Homeschool happens on whatever uncluttered surface we can find!! GREAT room! Glad you linked up!
