Summer 2013 Bucket List

For the past couple years I have printed up "pre-made" list from Pinterest to do over the summer. Having activities planned during the summer months when the kids are out of school, are great for the "I'M BORED" days.

This year I took to Pinterest and printed up list 1 , list 2 and list 3 for the smaller kids ages 4 and 5.  For the 13 yr old I printed up a blank one for us to add things to.

To get you started on your teens summer bucket list here are a few ideas we used/will be using..

  • Trip to an Amusement Park each month of summer vacation
  • Watch fireworks
  • Trip to the beach
  • Visit 3 new places
  • Read a book in 1 day
  • Learn a new hobby
  • Water balloon/gun fight
  • Family game day
  • Volunteer somewhere
  • Make ice cream sundaes
  • Movie night
  • Spend a day with a grandparent
  • Take a vacation
  • Start a journal on vacation
  • Spend a whole day without video games

You can get more bucket list ideas by using Google and searching "summer bucket list" or Google "Bucket list Pinterest"

This is a pretty good list, but I had to laugh at the "spend a whole day without video games". I got some nephews and if they heard that, it would be the end of the world for them. It would be interesting to see I could get them to do at least 5 things off this list this summer, instead of being glued to their devices.
